I'm a 34-year-old from the Cleveland area who has been to over 30 countries and is super passionate about travel. I also love writing, so this blog is a fun way for me to keep track of all of my trips as well as share tips and photos.

 

Along with being a traveler and writer, I'm a Sagittarius who loves gaming, the outdoors, rock music, craft beer, Islay whiskey, theater, reading, camping, cuddling my cat, kayaking, and outings with friends.

 

I left home at age 24 to backpack Australia and ended up living abroad for four years total (mainly in Oz, New Zealand, and Scotland). I worked hospitality jobs along the way and did NOT head off with much money, so I can answer plenty of questions about budget travel! I still prefer to stay in hostels when possible and love the communal aspect of traveling. I'm an open book and happy to share advice, so hit my inbox if you need me.
